Upon bidding £10 some months back and not expecting to win, I found myself the owner of what may or may not have been an offroad master.
Finally got the bike today, Big thanks to Sean Deveron for all the hassle of going and getting it boxing and sending.

heres the thread it was spotted on

http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... ad&start=0

bike was hoped to be this

and in the ebay ad looked like this

the rest of the group matched the catalogue, xd 6000 front and rear mech, Araya RX-7 Rims and XC 6000 hubs

wheels came up a treat, need stripping and regreasing, but loads of life left in rims and relatively true also, spokes arent rusty either as was first suspected, they are lovely stainless thingies

my biggest worry was why the overspray and what were they trying to hide with all of those silly stickers, so set about cleaning the frame and the parts a bit 8) 8) 8)

came up lovely, my thinking is at some point the bike hgas been nicked, and they have tried to disguise the bike by first scratching off anything that said offroad, then when that didnt work, spraying it and putting stickers all over it.

after mnay hours scrubbing and cleaning im 100% confident it is an off road master
