this is how it came out of storage, I agree, suspect I just bolted it all on so didn't get lost !. Needs a bit of work to tidy up.

not sure, it's all standard except the accessories, pedals and the saddle. It's a mix of components. Levers and shifters are XT. Hubs LX, Front and rear mechs are DX, cranks not labled ? I found the owners manual but not model specific.
The sad fact is that one of the reasons it's in good condition is lack of heavy use but have always kept it maintained, just not worn out, and now feels a bit of a stretch to the bars.
What other stems will fit ? alternatively do frames come up, either another eldridge grade or maybe pine mountain (better ?) or bear valley (next one down). Anyone recall whether the framesets were that different ?
