Sadly, I've picked up some weekend work which I can't afford to turn down - never fear, for Deputy Dawg Dave is going to lead the ride (from the aft... or even the car park!)

Lot's of lovely looking singletrack here in Loop 1:

http://www.dilan4.com/beics/dolen1a.htm (note: there's two pages)

You might want to combine with Loop 2:

Suggest you all meet at the carpark shown in the map, just through Penmachno.

9 Riders (as of Monday eve):

Dave Sidewinder
Harry
Gav + 4 outriders

Sadly the news that Neil will not be riding in his bikini has meant 2 of my outriders have now flanked, so it's me +2

Aye, going to fettle me gears this afternoon (so expect loads of mechanicals from me tomorrow).

Just a bit of info-

-there are roadworks on the A55 by Rhuallt Hill and also Abergele that can cause tailbacks, factor that into your journey if you're heading that way.

-there's a very good cafe about 10 minutes from the trail car park if anyone wants to stoke up in the morning. http://www.conwyfalls.com/modules/standard/viewpage.asp?id=1
You can't miss it. It's right on the A5 as you turn off on the road to Penmachno.

Hwyl pawb.

filled the car up with fuel, and the RTS has had a test ride to work and back, so I am all set to go.

Mainly the roadworks at Abergele.
Dunno how much people factor delays into their journey but living the other side of the choke hold I don't experience any delays to my journey.

Just thought I would point out that there are problems en-route for some coming here tomorrow....

If I was faced with coming to Penmachno from the Wirral or the NW,
knowing the routes like I do,
I'd travel to Mold and then to Ruthin, Clawddnewydd, Cerrig-y-drudion and then Pentrefoelas to Penmachno.

In other words, read between the lines,
you could do worse and avoid the A55!

Good information to know, so thank you and I'll avoid the A55...

Cheers

Penmachno claimed a few casualties, Dave being the first.
