I really like DBR. Just really like the look of them. When I saw this 20 inch frame for sale on ebay, I had to try to get it.... And guess what.... I just bought it!

I will try to get it to The Netherlands, but with some help from members, I think it will get here..... some day!

Anyway, will try to find some parts for it. Nice project for 2011!

So, this is it: a 1995 DBR WCF Vertex!

Some more pics after some work on it.....

Got a Marzochi Bomber Z2 on it now, but will change it for a Manitou Comp that is on the way! The Kooka headset is very nice with it and I love the WTB tires.
Will do some work on the chips on the frame. Not major though: it's gonne be a rider!

I don't understand this comment :? ....I find the WCF significantly stiffer than the all steel frames, both TT-Lite and Ritchey WCS, probably on a par with the aluminium Vertex but with more comfort.

Build is looking good so far, very business like and useable 8)

Let us know what you think of the ride once you've got it finished, not many of these about, I'd be interested.

Thanks! It was the plan to make it useable! Glad you noticed!

I'll have it ready soon and will get it out there and let you know!

Still got a Manitou Magnum waiting for a rebuild :? Don't know when I have the time to finish that one, so that's why I put the Z2 on it. Looking OK IMO!

it's getting there Bart! I agree, the Bomber looks good. But with the Manitou I think it will look even better!
