Looks good, I've marked the previous route in blue on here - the line in red is the way Kaiser wants to go

And it was 1994, and not even half the size of soldiers leap.

both look fun, which do you think will have less snow/ice? The red route looks
higher so might be more fun but will it be clear?

not sure a mad scramble across the A9 dual carriageway sounds like much fun to me!

I reckon there'd be some trail improvisation to get there from Killiecrankie...

I doubt it will be snowed up but the climb to the top from the river would turn my lungs inside out....

Crossing the A9 I think involves a 5 mile detour at that point, but it's a quiet road with few accidents so we could just make a dash for it

Edit - there is a road under the A9 just north from the visitor centre, might be a possibility do the route anticlockwise and the downhill would be immense.
