Dunkers big bad build thread

yeah great job Mr K and thinking about it again....

given yours is a pretty mental light frame and forks and mine is a pretty heavy steel frame with bouncy bounce.... then I don't feel so depressed about my own weigh-in now :D

did you weigh the bare frame?, mines isnae too light.

got the l&m cranks today , by god there heavy  still gona use them tho .

acht i'll be happy wi sub 30lbs

no never weighed anything as just got the wing wong device today, suprized yours is heavy, the killer v was very light IIRC, would have been interesting to have known the weight of that bike, was very useful at the SSUK :)

even with the V I reckon theres a good 1.5 lb saved with that frame and fork set up. Mikee any thoughts?

For the record the F+F for the dunkers dale is

Frame: Cannondale 3.8 series 1792g +hanger 20g
Forks:1" Tange ahead, uncut, 839g

Really enjoyed this thread :D funny to see some of the same ideas being used.
Seconded... I can see some Maxxis Flyweights and those WCS bars. Looking good, those eggbeaters with the platform always seem to look too chunky when they're on the bike. And yes, decals would spiff it further.

Surprised at the weight, given it's alloy, I thought it would come in comfortably under 18lbs. Struggling to see where the weight is... wheelset?

Oh aye, hacksaw them brake blocks!

Remember this was the entry level dale, I think mikee had the different weights posted somewhere. Right I'm off to weigh the other eggbeaters.

Aye I had them on this
