Well the mongrel headset was obviousley never going to work ,
So I ordered a new Fsa Pig Downhill and its arrived and fitted by one of my technicians at work
And how handy is it to have a fully equipped automotive workshop with 15+ techs in it with every tool you could think of (not bike tools though)
A Bearing press makes fitting headset cups a doddle
So just having a cuppa before getting this built up and hopefully ready for a run on my day off on thursday, maybe some action shots if Mrs P is up for a wee ride in the woods too

No idea how much it weighs , (plenty though)
The forks, bars & brake weigh more than the frame though :shock:
Its useless at climbing, so I think a change of shock is on the cards, something with lockout so I can get up
Its so so forgiving on the way down though, stuff that had the Sv's back end squirming about, it simply floats over
Stairs , roots, rocks , nothing is getting in this fellas way
Need to Name it though,
I feel it deserves a name.............
