This is a Sagem MDP 1600. I was given it as a leaving present for a previous job, and until tonight it has never left the box.
I plugged it in to check it this evening, and all appears to be fine - as per pic below. It fired up straight away and had sharp focus.

This is a DLP (digital light processor) projector, same technology as Sagem's early HD TV's that won rave reviews at the time (check 50" TV model HTD-501)
The MDP1600 retailed at £800 and was considered a bargain at the time.
Im not versed on the features of this model anymore but im fairly sure you can run it in a decent definition, if not HD through a laptop/hard drive, or you may wish to simply use it for presentations (boring!).

Anyone that pays quick with paypal gift can light up their home cinema future for the bargain sum of £80 delivered.
