I did need that lie-in :shock: Didn't get out of bed till 8.30.

Anyway had a great ride with John, hope you boys had a good trip to the Pines

John and I (& Connie) then went to see the national cyclocross champs in Derby. Nakedgav did very well coming inside the top 30 :shock:

By 8.30 we were ruling the trails...well wheezing up a hill...but the wood looked lovely in the first sunlight I've seen for 2 months, the trails were frozen hard, we saw a deer and we had a nice time!

We certainly did have a nice time. NO MUD. It feels very very nice to be diving in and out of the forest on almost hidden routes and seeing everybody else on the on the Kitchener loop.

Here are the stats for a cracking ride tonight. Most enjoyable!

Distance: 15.44miles

Ride time: 1 hour 30 mins

Average 10.15mph (which is good)

Fastest 21.98mph

Best trump: Phil @ 42.5mph

(Ed knows what I mean, he got the full force!)
