Cannondale Raven 2 - Finished page 2!

Cheers Steve. They do look rather fetching . Just waiting for a slightly narrower b/b as the one in there was for the Toplines, and a different fr deurailer. The newer chunky shimano fr mech fouls the bottom of the swingarm.... A retro 735 XT mech should be slimmer and do the job :).

Cheers.

Finished!

Managed to get the Raven completed and take some pics  .
Still dialling in the rear shock and getting used to setting up the disc brakes but other than that really happy. The little ride out on it I have had so far it feels really nimble and responsive to ride. Can’t wait to get out on it for a few proper rides when it isn't sheet ice everywhere!

Anyway, a few pics of it finished and the spec sheet…

That is stunning Alex,

Love all the yellow with the black, and some of the carbon-fibre add-on's too.

Now you should get it into the '98 section botm.. ;)

Thanks chaps, very kind of you to say and no probs Marin man... I know what your saying . And not sure Steve about BOTM... Hadn't even thought about it...Classic frame maybe but modern bits could be cause for contention despite the 1998 --> tag of the section?

Anyway... managed to get a couple of pics from a ride at the weekend:

Thanks... Glad some see it as a revival rather than a massacre

Oh I wish it were my back garden as theres a great (for a local park) little wooded section behind the lake as well! Used to fish in there when I was younger, and there are a few monster fish in there as well...
