Hi,

In my garage a have an old Benotto racebike.
I don't know if it is original Italian build or a "Mexican" one?
Someone told me that you can see this from the bottombracket.

Can some identify this frame from this picture?

Really need to see the whole bike to answer that one.Certainly by the late 70t's all Benotto's were being made in Mexico city with the exception of the very high end team frames which were still made in Italy, probably by DeRosa. That heart shape cut out was very common on nearly all 80t's frames.

Looks like an early 80t's model 1800 or 2500,made in Mexico, but totally Italian in looks, the forks are especially nice.

Hi
Very nice Benotto. Is it complete. What size C-T Seat Tube. C-C Top Tube.
I personaly collect this brand, can you tell me a little bit about the frame.
I might be able to help you
Does it have Campagnolo Rear dropouts and fork ends
What are the numbers underneath the B/B,i cannot make them out in your photo.Benotto use a unique numbering system
Also tell me a little bit about the chainstays, are they diamond shape, rather than the round or oval design.
Would you be interested in selling it
