Had a thought about those of us that link data loggers and mapping route info. Don't start a route, or finish one from outside your house. All you are doing is advertising where some nice bikes may be. You never know who could be reading this stuff.

I bought a program called 3d route mapper for the reason that some of the rides I have done have gone down the wrong route or so on, so its a nice little editor.

Also handy for the above. And when you put the bike in the car and forget to stop logging!

The software was 12 quid or so.

Day off work today and headed over top Arran on the CX bike. Turned out to be a lovely day if a little cold. Normally hoon round the island. but decided to stop more take some pics and worry less about the time. Thoroughly enjoyed :D

Bike to work, I'll cheat and include my return journey just now.

Today:20.5Miles
TotalYTD:135.9Miles

When logging rides does it include commuting? Just curious as I'll need to put in 20.2 miles daily (only 4 days a week though, possibly).
Or is it just 'for enjoyment' rides?

Its entirely up to yourself. I'm interested to see how many cycling miles I get in in a year so I'll be recording everything. You could post anything you like, you don't need to tally miles or record every ride, you could simply post if you enjoyed yourself or if it rained or what have you. Use it as a log or a motivator or just to tell someone about it. Ideally though its not too chatty.
