North East Rides; Nightrides and Thrunton- Join in!

Looking at Carl's FB photos from last Saturday there's still shit loads of snow.

Could have a look?
 
Still tons of snow at Thrunton. Couldn't drive past the caravan site up to main car park.

The Burn path (rooty track) has about 6-8" of soft snow and fallen trees. Even the fire roads are 6" plus with fallen trees across them.

The place is a complete knacker job.

Yesterday`s Rothbury conditions:
Anywhere that has pedestrian traffic is now packed ice, great long expanses of the stuff. There are little or no big melt patches, climbs are still snow/ice. Its bloody awful :(
 
I might have a 'round Morpeth' bimble followed by a few pints on thursday night if anyone is free?

More snow due end of this week :(

I'm seriously starting to look at one of those fat tired snow bikes.
