I am surprised at the Sex doing so well. I followed the build thread with interest and saw it as a fantastic example of the community coming together to help, with parts, knowledge and practical skills. However the actual build does nothing for me, too much red anno and over blinged beyond the point my taste buds can allow.
Also having built a fair number of products I appreciate that every build in the competition will have taken a lot of effort and usually from fewer individuals.

Don't take any of this personally Jon, it is a great bike and you should be very proud of it, I just don't think it is BOTM, there are better builds in the
list. Possibly just less widely publicised and followed as they were taking place.

All that said, I went for the Claud Butler which has probably looked like that since the factory built it! An odd choice for me, but it looks sweet.

So many entries!

The Claud floated my boat this month, I just kept going back to look at it some more.

I generally go for the bike that imho is the best aesthetic package :) and that obviously is where tastes vary :D and taste changes too as I did have purple parts on my bikes 'bitd' but not a fan now

So, my top 3 bikes this month:

mfh126's Boulder Bicycles Intrepid AL - lovely subtle build :)
hairstream's Boulder Defiant - - just those white tyres :?
Crantinope's Pace RC200 - superb build and attention to detail. Although the purple rings are too much for; grey rings with purple bolts imo and would've been the winner ;)

Very close, but mfh126's Boulder Bicycles Intrepid AL just get it on a photo finish :)

Such a shame Kaisers Fat is SS, a look I really dont like. But the build i very very nice.

Call me weird but I vote the Scott for it's looks.

Claud Butler for me...White paint and anno parts are too much for me...not my kind of retrobike (or bike) i mean!
