Hi guys,

don't know is this is of interest...virtually one owner from new BMW 316 (1800cc) automatic, great retro colour Henna Red (orangey colour), superb interior and under 60.000 miles from new.

Mine for nearly four years, wife of BMW dealership owner previously.

No MoT - to good to break, needs mild restoration (easy) and you'll have a low mileage classic car with a good provenance.

Have all the books, toolkit etc.

At £750 it's a good price, makes it an economically viable resto.

Potential buyers only please, PM me for pics.

No bro.

When the E21 was launched in 1975 the 316 was a 1600cc. Later in the E21's long life the 316 became an 1800cc but was still called the 316 in the UK; as BMW - for marketing purposes - wanted to"distance"the 1800cc car from the 320 (the 2000cc car).

A modern example is my daily driver 523i - it is actually a 2500cc!!!

Regards, Roadking.

No problem bro,

I've had articles published on these cars in a couple of classic mags (anorak!)...was going to restore this one, but too many other projects and not enough time or money!!!
