2011 salsa mukluk - update 18/2/2011

well all the old snow has now gone, but fresh snow forecast this weekend..........just hope my wheels get cleared from customs and into my hands this week!

im going to use this bike for almost all of my riding, regardless, but will be nice to see a snow bike in the snow

It would be amusing if your wheels couldn't get to you because of the snow

well the wheels finally arrived at the depot last night so i got them this morning.

sadly i was working today so have only just stuck some air in them, added the discs and skewers and fitted them to the bike to see the almost ready look.

the pics dont do the bike justice, this thing is huge!

I have been riding with Pugsley three days now... :D

Enjoy your Salsa, that was my first choice but no change to have for this season.

just out of interest how long does it take to pump one of those bad boys up!

wouldnt fancy trying to pump one up with a mini pump!

no time at all, you can just use a 2.4 29er tube, so they pump up very quick.

i hear people are using 26" x 2.4"-2.75" tubes fine also.
