1970's Carlton build.

lol@cant afford to. This bike is funded from selling my old fixed gear that I bought with a mixture of selling old adidas trainers on ebay and tins of guinness. Its a dublin built raleigh record frame, gaspipe tastic. I swapped a 26" mtb rim for the frame lol.





Its far from a big budget build, I'm a mature student lol

almost finished, needs brakes wired, I decided to got with the centre pulls after all.

Its taken a bit of a backseat to the 1950's sun I'm working on as well..lol

My room is like a bloody bikeshop at the minute and have nearly gassed myself with fumes a few times. Incl the sun this will be the forth bike I have stripped and rebuilt from september.

Thats the folder I did, I bought it from a skip place for a fiver and stripped and painted it. Nice wee bike though.

Tyres arrived today, Just need brake levers and swap over pedals.

chain is in post, so on the home straight.

the tyres remind me of the light cycles in the new version of tron lol.

just ordered these off ebay.

pedals and chain on.

just needs levers, those ones I bought are just far too big .

still they'll get reused on my gf's new mixte
