Dunkers big bad build thread

Some changes I see  Can't beat the conti's for retro and weight. Whats your hanger set up?

Mikee did you ever look at the new wave of plastic pedals? Seem light but tough.

not that light
lbs has some and ,well i think i can do better

watch this space ;)

been bidding on thebay for some onza ho's, ti ones but they went over my
bid ..

the hangers just a made up one bolted to the fork crown
well pleased with the whole brake set up seems to work well
might get out for a shakedown run tomorrow if i get the chain sorted
then it'll get torn down and the cosmetics done

looking good mike are carbon bars retro? ha ha

my wtb plastic spd's are pretty light if a bity cracked

no grips for ultimate weight reduction I like it.

no , its no finished yet gazz
bars might stay (they just look so sexy ) and grips are in my LBS along
with a chain i hope

I've got the CB frame now but I'm now in deep head scratching mode :?

Despite being alloy its got 130mm OLN dropouts which is a pain. The frames very overbuilt so weight reduction might be difficult even with major surgery. Also uses an uncommon seatpost diameter somewhere between 29 and 31mm, need to dig out my battered vernier caliper
All the cable stops seem to have been riveted on and the frames finish is very poor, its lead a HARD life, now I'm feared I'll find a catastrophic crack somewhere. Plus its only got a 22" top tube which for me is a bit too short :(

Very tempted to chuck it into the dark recesses of the shed and give up on it

I'll scrape off the paint and see if that lifts my opinion of the old wreck ;)
