New Toy!

Just picked up a marin quake 5.0 frame, I was originally going to use the swing arm off it on my shoreline trail to replace the cro-mo one as it only cost £35 for the whole frame including nearly new fox vanilla shock! But now I have it iv go to build it up, i thought it was a small but iv measured it at 17.5" so think its a medium?Its in really good condition and the guy I got ot from has had it from new!
Im thinking of striping the shoreline trail now to get the quake up and running.
Has anyone got any info on these bikes?there doesnt seem to be a lot about them.

I remember these being out along side the Mount Visions etc back in '97. It's weird as you don't seem to see many Quake's these days. Definitely worth building up in my opinion. Set of Manitou forks and a mid-range spec, would be a great all-rounder

I thought they were only made for a year in 97 but really stuggling to find any info on these. Its a lovely looking frame got all the bits to go on it just need to get a BB tool!

Stripped most of the shoreline trail and put the bits on the quake, just waiting for a set of bomber forks and thinking about putting a hope DH4 on the front. Oh and putting the cranks and gears on!
