Karma is a cool thing, gave away a load of stuff a while back, bike stuff, charity shop stuff and the like. Day after the last package was posted found a glass vase in a junk shop that was incredibly rare and worth £900 (I'm a big collector of post war glass, dontyaknow!).
It's like that song we sung in primary school:
'It's just like the magic penny,
hold it tight and you won't have any,
lend it, spend and you'll have so many,
they'll all roll over the floor....'
(I hope I'm reading the context of the song right and that it was about not being a tightarse, rather than the other context that it could have been a brainwashing exercise to tune all kids into the spending frenzy of Thatchers britain in the 80s!)
