that looks stunning , lot of work tho
got the weight's written down ,in the garage
will submit them later

the zaskar was 1640 grams or so but i have light forks and an aheadset
for it
the franck roman dale is a wee bit heavier and the forks are 100 grams
or so heavier and 1" threaded

need to get the other frames weighed will do that in a bit
i also have some peperonis coming so they will be lighter still i hope
so 1 1/8" headset wins in the stack up of stuff

Quick summary of how you polish an alloy frame please :D

where are you starting from?

easy version..

Nitromors
Scotchbrite/brillo pad
Autosol

some folks use various grades of emery paper but I've only needed to on bad scores.

results are in

zaskar 1609 grams
18" dale 3.8 series 1861 g
astars asr320 2099.89 g
didnt bother with the other dales, the caad 3 is a bit new
and the otherones are built up
my 2000 zaskar is 1492 g

going with p2's at the moment at 809g tho may fit something a bit
more forgiving (spinner x) if i can get some

wheels next

Whats Autosol and where do you get it :D

When I get the CB its Nitromors for the hideous pink then polish. Dont think I'll drill anything on the frame but will try and keep weight down ;)

Whats Autosol and where do you get it.

Looks like toothpaste, white, can be bought from any good car shop (even Halfrauds)
