Amber wall tyres - help sourcing please from Roadking.

Hi guys,

have exhausted an internet search...am trying to source amberwall tyres -these look best on steel framed lightweights.

In 700c and 27"sizes.

Anyone any suggestions or NoS tyres?

For 700c, Decathlon do a reasonable and pretty cheap amberwall Michelin

Panaracer pasellas are good, you can get them in steel and folding and they still do a 27 1 1/4 version.

Veloflex Paves are still available in a tan sidewall - they ride beautifully too.

Likewise, Challenge have some nice tyres available using the old Clement moulds.

I also managed to pick up some budget 700x20c tanwall Michelin Dynamics from an eBay shop for next to nothing. They don't get amazing reviews but they look fantastically skinny but old-timey!

good 'ole Michelin World Tour are widely available in 27" amberwall

Michelin WTs and Pasellas are both good choices, the Paella being slightly narrower for a 27-1/4.
