I was at the factory in 1994 and they had an F1 with a back end that was definitely DOGS BOLX - I know, because it had a small white sticker on the black tubes that said "DOGS BOLX" 
The wishbone seatstats were bonded onto the top of the seat tube, rather than bolting in the sides, like yours. Maybe it was a one-off?
My F1 seatpost is going strong 16 years later, even though it's properly stuck in my Roberts DB prototype.
