Dunkers big bad build thread

and you are spoiled for choice my friend.

Remember artistic endevour is also a major factor, if like me, your starting with a steel frame

I do like the idea the frame he got form me in at the last Dunkeld meet will be ridden at this one.

I might pop down for those forks when the snow has gone Rob, or are you going to edinburgh on saturday for the bar lunch?

Mikee, can you weigh the A/stars as its closest to the CB I'll no doubt be waiting a wee while for. Thus it gives me a rough idea what I'm dealing with ;)

I'm aiming for a sub 25Ib bike which for me would be a milestone. If i can do it without drilling anything then all the better but my budgets teeny so 32/36 spoke rims will be used  An undished rear wheel with 2 cross DB spokes may help though :)

While Im on holiday this week Ive been stalking Kaiser and
hes taking this whole challenge far to seriously ;)

.

I think I can smell the burning alloy from here.

What weight do folks think they might manage, I would be happy with 22lbs.

I reckon this will be an ongoing project for me. Keep getting lighter as cheap as possible. Got a set of levers this morning of ebay, brand new £4.97 and 150grams :) .
