Hex keys?

Wrong section?

Well, I'm looking for a set of new and long and straight hex/ Allen keys in the ball end style with handles, ideally wooden handles (plastic hater that I am). Does anyone make these?
When I say long I want them to be in the 7 to 8 inch range if possible.

Thanks, Jason.

What sort of handles do you want; screwdriver style or T ends? I can't think of any that don't have plastic or resin handles unfortunately, but if you want to skip the plastic handles completely I can recommend some conventional allen keys.

If you don't mind spending a bit get some Wiha hex keys with MagicRing. They have a spring loaded clip in the ball end which is good enough to hold the bolt while you insert it. They are quite long compared to the competition, the 10mm is about 9" long:

On more of a budget, any of the Eklind range are quite acceptable.

They will both be tools that will see you through to when you retire, so hopefully you'll be able to overlook the fact that they have plastic holders.
