My '84 Road Ace

Dora

Dirt Disciple
Built this one about 6 months ago with a frame off the bay and lots of scavenged parts from the shed etc. I've gone through a few frames over the last couple of years, all of which were nearly but not quite right for me. This one, for what ever reason, is absolutely on the button. Its very comfortable, effortlessly quick and I love the slightly quirky aero features. I think I have a bit of closet fondness for the old Raleigh thing too! There's a little bit of rust showing through, mostly around the lugs but its not that bad and I don't reckon its worth sacrificing the stickers for a respray yet.
Anyone else got one?

Yeah, I've got a tatty old one, well only the frame and forks are left now. it's one of the early models haven't looked at it for a while but I don't remember it having shot in stays.
I've had quite a few Raleighs (and still have a few) Always loved the way they fit, was brought up on watching Jan Raas etc so Raleighs were the only ones for me.
