PC help again

My PC does nor recognise any of my USB ports , ie printer and digital camera .

In Device manager one of the USB signs has a yellow ! next to it .

Help . please .

1. Disconnect the USB hardware from the PC.
2. In Device Manager right click the USB that has the exclamation next to it and choose "Uninstall this hardware" (click Yes if you get some "Are you sure you want to bladiebla" message).
3. Reboot the computer and see if it displays a "New hardware found" message and installs the newly found USB hub/port
4. Connect the USB hardware that previously failed and see what happens.

Hope this helps, this normally solves it for me (unless some hardware is broken).

wheter I try to update or unistall and reinstall driver I get an error message telling me that the driver are not intended for this platform . :?:

also , I only have one USB port with a :!: , but none of the USB ports are working .
it is driving me nuts . :evil:

You may wanna uninstall all of the USB ports then, including the USB root hub (or what's that called). Just do away with everything USB in Device Manager and restart the computer.

What driver are you using? I normally just let Windows find it's USB drivers. Never used any manufacturer drivers, or do you have some VIA board?

Make sure you do have USB enabled in your BIOS.
