yeah i know
Now it interests me aswell, but BITD i never even considered owning it. It was sitting somewhere with SUNTOUR.
Total TURNOFF

who says its cool is HISTORY DENIER and should be put in retrobike jail

Gorgeous cantis and that shield logo on the chainset always looks classy. But ultimately as a whole looks a bit, well, stuffy, a touch fuddy duddy. So form is inconclusive.

What about function? Overall pretty rubbish.

Once past C Record in the road, not a glorious period in general for an otherwise glorious company.

Uncool.

Undoubtedly cool.

If given the choice today between having a full NOS kit of Record OR, Shimano XT, or Suntour XC pro from the same era, I wouldn't even think twice about going for the first one.

campag stuff bitd looked the biz ,not as nice as mavic stuff tho
and mavic worked

looking at it today functionaly campag (mtb ) stuff is an "entusiasts" choice
like air cooled VW's, british motorcycles, and maybee applemac's

so it has to be cool

i also have a campag equipped bike so thats a +1

mind you i have a generalized and wouldn't vote that cool

very very very cool

The most crazy groupo for me, with very huge brake levers. Not the best, because very heavy and campagnolo had understood nothing for mtb.
But so rare today, but I love the "Star-Trek"design.

For me, the shimano XT II 730 is really my preferred groupo, but when I make comparison with the italian parts, the completion of campy is really better and beautifull.
The only groupo I wanted on my attitude
