I had a pair of these. Ok on the rear derailleur in most circumstances (though definitely need to pick your gear beforehand if dong anything technical). The rear though was a different kettle of fish - a real pain - ie what seemed like inches of movement before anything happens. Ok on the road though. Off road - ho hum.
