Interesting frame, the 'flying gate'. That's a very nice one too. 
If anyone knows of one for sale in 23in or bigger, do let me know, as I've been hankering after a Baines or TJ 'gate' for a long while.
This design originated in the mid 1930s and was very successful for hillclimbs. But it does look wrong...
