My cyclo-cross bike has a 1" Cane Creek S2 (I think that's the model, anyhow) which isn't quite so low as this Star offering but probably a bit easier on the wallet - retailing between about 20 and 25 quid. Still allows me to fit an ITM Eclypse aheadstem, 10mm high spacing ring and canti brake adjuster/hanger without needing to have bags of steerer tube on show.
