Like it, he knows his flatland moves and is using them in some innovative places.

My current fave tech BMX video edit is this one from Rob Ridge, I cannot comprehend how one of the last tricks is even physically possible (you'll know it when you see it).

What sets it apart from other sorts of cycling - dirt jumping, 4X, down hill, flat land etc

That doesn't take into account doing it for fun.

Could you elaborate?

I guess that riding around on trails is a lot more fruit full :?

like flatland bmx and those girls riding the fixies in the indoor arena, i just don't get it. i accept that it is impressive but it isnt really riding a bike. it is much closer to dancing with a bike. and i see that as pointless.

if they get enjoyment out of it then good on them.

perhaps i just dont get it. i am open to being educated

Rob Ridge is an amazing rider himself....very, very tech and doesn't give a f**k about the fashion either!
