And today I did......

Lover Dome = I spy an externally butted seat tube of 1980's variety

either that or he's snapped the tube, wrapped a coke can round the split, rattlecann'ed it and flogged it to, er, Rob :p

I believe its a 1990'ish with 99 decals on it, and Mr P your right
about the externally butted seat tube, it may have been painted
red originally that purple was applied much later. I may use this
for my planned MTB tourer as the '91' Explosif it to nice to use
for that purpose.

.

Rub it down for a peek - it's maybe a Splatter Dome :D

Yellow?

Blue?

Can't rememeber

Gazz - I've been on that internet before - lots of strange things there, some quite scary

Ive had a little scratch at it Mr P and I could smell the cellulose
I think its one of these.

.....Wife's away a few days and I got bored in the kitchen so what did I do?

A) fantasise about Claudia Schiffer bending over to empty the dishwasher

B) book a night with some local hot chicks

C) weigh some run of the mill Shimano components

:?:

YUP:

Deore 510 brake lever, minus fixing bolt = 80g

XT M739 brake lever, minus fixing bolt = 75g

By my reckoning using XT saves 10g per bike leverwise

Claudia, Claudia come back

that would have been my choice ,that schiffer bints nowt but bother
"i don't eat this i don't eat that " dont get me started on getting her
to fill the dishwasher ,christ you'd think she's never done that before
glasses in upside down and what she does with a collender and the cheese
grater .....
