From the weekend? :shock: I thought I was bad - it is all sitting in the hallway waiting to be put away/washed.
Feeling good today.... I get the car back with a garage bill of half what I expected! Strange that I am cheering about only having to pay out £500... That included the cost of the clutch kit. Total bill for Gearbox Recon £800 - £1000 less than VW wanted for supplying the gearbox.

Today I received my keenly priced brand spanking new Stronglight chainset (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=43350) and while impressed by its quality and low mass, I was less impressed by its colour.
Rather than being silver, the chainrings are bronze, or perhaps champagne:
