This frame has traveled a lot lately, finally landed on my doormat a couple of weeks ago. Wasn't sure how to build it, just wanted a rider and no show bike.
Threw on some parts this evening and will take it out on my local trail this weekend to get it dirty :D
Not sure how the reactions will be as this bike has such an interesting history, tried to keep it all as period correct as possible, but not "Hemming" style I guess
Specs in short:
Gruppo: XTR M900
Araya RM400 pro rims
Syncros bar and post
Ringle stem and bottle cage
XC pro pedals (hooks and straps will follow...... or maybe SPD)
IRC Piranha pro tyres

will make some adjustments later for sure, all recommendations welcome :D

Time to ride it now!

some pics from this evening (poor quality sorry
:? )

near enough exactly how i'd build it, functional and stylish with no sillyness and unneeded bling.

well done. :D

Sheer class! though I kinda agree about the colour comment above.

Lovely. And I like the sink.

I'm also quite jealous of the floor and the hob with the wok burner ring in the middle.

I like the bike too. A sensible mix of parts that you're happy to ride rather than leave sat in the garage as you're scared to scratch them.

I must say you have done the frame justice. Done a far better build than i could have done.
