Circuit of Arran on Road - Posponed, the North is Calling

Any bike used for this that isn't vintage steel, with full mudguards, 1.9 inch tyres minimum, and pannier carrying an extensive range of tools made from depleted uranium, is a homocycle in my book.

Not that there's anything wrong with that etc. etc.
 
Oh the irony - where do I find myself on Saturday evening and Sunday? Do I have a bike with me? Am I persuaded to use my chainsaw for "family chores" instead of going round the Island today?
