ah well, was worth a try
don't fancy the welding option though
brake therapy is looking more likely (need to sell a bit more first though)
 
funny you should say that my local spec dealer got back to me aswell.

i'm more of the mind of keeping things as they should be.
the seat stay on my FSR is less than pretty but i wouldn't consider ruining some retro goodness just so i could run it with discs.

especially as they did make the disc adapters :p
