thats looking quite good m8

get it rideable then

Thanks.

Will look lovely once I've given the frame a clean over. There are a few chips to the paint here and there that I'll touch up, but for a 1985 frame I cant grumble!

'88 Rockhopper Comp, fixed conversion.
Should've kept it, it was a blast. Went to a good home, though.
God must want me to own old Rockhoppers, he just shook this out the Celestial Parts Bin:

'89 model, mostly original (fixed/free SS conversion, or Biopace & thumbies?)

Nice

Nice Specialized collection going on here.
Cab, it must be singlespeed or fixed in your case ;)
These old pre suspension geometry stumpies and rockies are the best SS frames.

Could be both. Think I've already got all the parts, including fixed/free wheel. Orange powdercoat & black stickers? It'll probably take precedence over that Stumpy I mentioned the other week, not just because it's taller! Just need to find time....

Any one know what year this stumpjumper is?
'95, I think. The '94 still had a 1" steerer and 28.6mm seat tube. The '95 went 1 1/8" and 31.8mm.
Not so... Mine is an 93' cromo Stumpy FS and the diameter of the headset is 1'1/8"...

My '99 FSR frame arrived today
i was thinking of powdercoating but the finish is in such good condition that i don't think i could justify it.
that leaves me 2 dilemmas
1. what colourscheme do i go with for the components
2. does anyone have a spare seatstay with a disc mount
3. is there a suitable disc adapter for the rear apart from the excellent (if a little expensive) Brake Therapy
