I know it's a bit modern but I love it anyway.

I like to keep this in show room condition, how sad is that.

Got a bit of gold bling on her apart from that standard.

This is one racey bike, and I love the square top tube.

The pink retro barbie bling in the background belongs to my youngest, and no she wont swap it for a Yeti!. No matter how much you like barbie, she likes it even more

As modern bikes go, I quite like that.

Take the reflectors off though, theres a good lad ;)

Thanks one and all for the kind comments

I should point out the reflectors and wheel protector are nos ;)

BTW I guess I could remove those bits, but then would that start me down the slippery slope of removing other bits.

Marin man I like your scott lots, I have wiped the chain a bit, but taking the chain of to give it a clean is a little to much even for me.

Having said that I was quite annoyed recently when I got a 0.5mm scratch on the cranks.

This Scott might not be the lightest, but it accelerates like a thunderbolt.

The plan eventually is to replace the bars and stem with Ritchey WCS (White) and some White fox forks.

Btw are Dart really that heavy, they are slightly thinner than higher up models, I would have thought that saves weight.

Final thought the top tube is square, although the photo's don't show this much.

A FINAL GOODBYE TO THE SCOTT

Wonder if Im going to regret this, probably never get another frame in as nice condition.

Am I going to miss my Shed Queen :(

The frame has been sold for peanuts but I needed the funds.

So far ye well O'h Scott of the Antartic..

Yes, yes they are my friend. I had the same darts on my kona and they weigh over 5.5 lbs. Repalced them wityh some Reba Sl's which were 3.5 lbs. Almost halved the weight, much better performance and much bigger and stronger stanchions.

I thought that you loved this bike ......should have known it would be a precursor to selling it
