Very early KLEIN frame - K111 - Pre-1990

Greetings,

Can anybody help me with identifying an old (pre-1990) Klein racing bike frame:

Frame number is K111 – from rear dropout.

Plain red frame with early red ‘KLEIN’ font. Sticker has been lacquered into paint. No other stickers or head tube logo.
No internal cables.
Came fitted with original Dura Ace cranks (mid-80’s)
Sakae front fork in OE colour.

I would really appreciate any help that you can offer?

I don't know how to date a Klein from its serial number, but I was reading this blog page a few days ago, and there are some details of early Klein road frames:

Having had a look at your 1985 brochure I think this frame would date from the late '80's....

I'd say it's certainly a Klein Kirsten - that's a lady's road/touring model. Compare the light blue frame bottom left in this catalogue page from 1989:

I know Klein had some odd methods of frame sizing, but I guess 47cm centre-to-top must make yours the 47cm model. The catalogue says new for '89, so at least you know it can't be older than that.
