No mudguard eyes fitted and a set of bottle mounts on it so can't be that low-end a frame and obviously has some leanings towards being a "race" rather than "sports" machine. 531 throughout or maybe 531 main tubes only? Agree with the other posts; certainly not a Worksop or Ilkeston job.

These frames were to promote the Ti Raleigh team at the time. Spec would have been very low, the frame is identical to other low end models.

A bit like the team Banana bikes, both available in hi-ten and Reynolds

I had an SBU frame and did hours of research to find out what it was.

You've got a budget raleigh great as a hack bike etc but not worth much. I struggled to sell one on ebay about a year ago- got £5 for it!
