Right i picked this up today really nice bike and i want to rig it up for the wife, its got Suntour thumbs, xc comp rear mech, xc ltd front mech and crank and is 7 speed i am thinking she would prefer gripshift. I know nothing of the mechs and therefore have no idea if this is possible so any advice please

if you want I have some grip shift SRT 400 , for 7 speed , which will work with suntour ( and shimano ) .

ohhhhhhh goooooodie just been checking

the fella i bought it from put in his ad

"The frame is in good condition, not bent but a coule of scratches as you would expect, Mavic 221 fornt wheel fitted and I have a matching rear to give away with it."

The rear wheel fitted is on suntour hub on a umt-17 rim (never heard of rim advise)

Front fitted wheel is a white industries hub on a mavic 221

spare wheel is a XT M737 on a mavic 221 with XT QR

you'll love the ride, it's a kona. the mrs wont get a look in once you've had a go on it.

it feels a little heavier than the marin but this has judy c's fitted so dont know if thats why or not
