stripped bike now....
Going to take it to a local bike shop and their going to fix it....
Can wait for it and take same day..which i thought was good!!

hi there, could you let me know which bike shop?

I m in a similar situation having just bought a carlton road bike with an unknown crack which I would like to get repaired. I live in porthtowan so not a million miles away.

are the bike shop going to do the work or take it to someone else do you know?

maybe you could let me know what the finished job cost and what standard the work is if youve got a chance

Clive Mitchells in Truro mate..,
Fella's called Mike....
when i spoke to him on the phone..said he takes it home and does it with a tig welder....quoted approx £20.

Haven't managed to get over there yet!!!
