Legnano were/are a quality frame........I know they make modern ones again, but the older ones were better/lighter as far as I know.......Only going off what a friend tells me (he owns an old bike shop)
 
This frame is from the late 70's or early 80's and is built with Falck tubing. The tubing is on a par with Reynolds 531. At the time, these frames were built by Bianchi who had bought up the Legnano name. Legnano bikes from earlier times are often considered as high collectibles as many famous riders like Gino Bartali rode them to fame and victory. If I am remembering correctly, the owner of the company was assasinated by the Red Brigades during the "anni di piombo" (the leaden years).
