Cracked on the downtube, fairly terminal unless you want to make a slingshot out of it

though a coke can and a couple of jubilee clips might work :idea:

Suntour/Shimano and metal or plastic plus does it need to be indexed or friction. I have a selection

Er... Shimano, metal ideally, it's to go on a mountain bike but I'm going to run a 105 road rear mech, will either be 7 or 8 speed. I'm assuming if it's friction rather than indexed it'll work fine. Does that make sense or am I rambling?

If your going friction it matters not if its Suntour and I may have something that'll do the job. I do have a Shimano deore 7 spd thumbie that will do 8 in friction but it'll need a wee service as the friction/index selector shifts without warning but I have others. I'll get back to you after a wee sort through the junk
