Show us your... Overbury's

The forks were custom made by Overburys - Niva chrome tubed straight blade, tapering towards the dropouts. They had 1 1/8th steerer and plugged into an Impact headset for sensible staying-done-upness.

Hey,no offence intended, Duke. I'm a born n bred Brizzle boy and won't hear a word said against it.

Oh! And I did get the bike back!! Stolen in june 92 and found in september. I spotted it being ridden on Horfield Common, and parked my Honda in front of it. Had an argument with the rider for a while and he eventually took fright n legged it. I popped out the wheels, strapped it on the back of the Honda and headed home! :D
I sold Overbury on to a guy in Nailsea as I'd already replaced it with a Stumpy M2 by then. I wonder where it is now??

I guess the guy had a hard time explaining the unique forks and custom specced groupset away as something he had done, dont suppose he ran in the direction of Southmead did he

Hopefully this will pop up on ebay at sometime, got to say, think it is my dream bike at the moment, especially with the campag and special forks! Bet you miss it now reluctant.

i didn't get the overburys until I saw LGF's, I'd seen the ones with drops and I just don't like them on MTB's (I went through a stage of having bar ends and a tri extension of one of my MTB's and it was totally daft).
Some of these are great though, nice design, well made and some cracking components (loving the Campag ones), bike 'art' like the early Kleins.

I think i will need a campag seat post and some decent pedals.

Let me know what you think.

Cheers
Pete

will be selling it to another guy off here in a week or so once he gets the funds
it would take me too much time and effort to do the needful to this bike
and i certainly wouldn't do it justice
leave it to the professionals !
