Hi all,

thinking of a ride this Saturday PM.

It is my aim to start this ride

to the South Downs Way, then west, over the A27, and up to Chantry Post. I would then return along the SDW for about 0.5 mls then branch Rt heading for Honeysuckle Lane, and completing the majority of this route,

from the 1 ml mark.

As an alternative, from Chantry Post, down over Blackpatch Hill, to the Monarch's Way, then into the Angmering Park Estate.

I am not a fast rider, as Bobcatmax will testify, just out for a good ride. Wives/gf's welcome

Starting about 14:30 from The Gardeners Arms, Sompting village. This approx at the 1ml mark on the first route linked above

ATB,

Interested. Not sure what work holds over the next few days but will update on Friday if that's ok?

Wish we could join you this time Dave, but an impromptue visit from an old mate and a 23 mile slog home from work yesterday are saying differently.

Might try and persuade my buddy to get on the other bike, but can't really see it happening.

Have a great ride everyone :D

Just a quick note to say thanks to Dave for sorting this, it was a great run. Also, good to meet you and Anthony.

Cheers

Thanks again Dave. Nice route, beautiful views, great weather, very well organised!

This is the link to the Trail Break event that came the other way.

Seems like most of them would have started from Winchester at 8.45 and if you look at last year's times the fastest ones would have finished day 1 (63 miles) before we started out, so we only met the slower ones! Doing that 63 miles in five and a half hours is quite quick.
