OWMTBC 2010 in North Wales this September - thoughts please!

Got the Traverse finished today, but not without a few small glitches along the way.
All sorted now though. Very last minute but I may just have time to test ride it tomorrow morning before I set off...

Sounds like i'm not the only one having problems and it's also good to know i'm not the only one test riding their bike at the event! Just got my Parkpre finished today. I arrived off holiday 3am this morning and had some bits in the post waiting for me. Also I think my hope front hub is goosed as their is still play in the wheel with another new set of bearings. Pretty sure the flange and hub body aren't bonded anymore.

I've got loose cones in the back wheel, the front brake's not connected (but the pads are shot anyway) and the rear brake has new pads but they don't point the right way yet - I just stuck them in to stop the eye bolts falling out. And the whole thing is rather scruffy - aiming for "ridable" rather than "concours", and not quite hit that yet

I don't think I have the right bike...

I'm not a racer so it's not for me...

I can't afford the time...

I don't have any money left...

It's too far to travel
