Hi all,
Did this route last Sat, with pub stops in L.A (Arun View), Ford, (Ship & Anchor), Arundle (Black Rabbit, lunch), Burpham ( George & Dragon [ closed]), and Patching (Fox).
Just the three of us, mate Tel (Specialised), me, and his mate , Mick, who turned up on a lovely old Giant Atrax 850.

I would be interested to know if anyone has ridden from points 19.6 miles to 19.8 miles on this route, in either direction :twisted:
Mick found out what happens when you a) wear rat traps, b) stall going up a step, and c) are given the choice river or brambles

Upstream along the Arun
Typical river path, Mike "flying past" :? well, wobbling....
River at South Stoke bridge.
Steep out of Wepham, near the end of the day.
The climb (push) up into the Angmering Park estate. This is at 19.6 mls
Looking back down the path.
Stalling, Rat traps, Brambles, still leaking after three hours :roll:
