XTR pads

SJS cycles still sell the replacement pads, (might not say XTR tho) but prices are very OTT.

Got quite a few older style XTR pads, but most have some wear already...'spose it depends if you going for functional retro or not!
 
I'm only after the actual catridge holder bits, which SJS don't have. Seem to have plenty of the replacement pads (who knows why).

What are the older XTR pads like?
 
XTR pads

The older sort were one piece, quite long & slightly curved, as seen in that awesome pic of the 10th Anniversary FAT on STW yesterday!

I'm using some silver coloured catridge pad holders (with XTR V brake pads installed) to good effect, will try to work out what & where I got them from.
 
b.bracket, chain, brake pads. I really dont worry about period correct on those parts on retro builds ;D
